Bear #435 (aka Holly) is a large adult female with blond ears and pale, tan-colored claws. By early autumn, she is usually very fat with grizzled blond fur. Her appearance somewhat resembles the shape and color of a lightly toasted marshmallow. Holly won Katmai National Park & Preserve’s annual Fat Bear Competition in 2019.
