The flying Blue Goose is the symbol of the National Wildlife Refuge System. Our wildlife refuges are home to hundreds of species of birds, mammals, reptiles, fish, and plants, including many endangered specieis. The U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service manages more than 500 refuges.
