Kachemak Bay Shorebird Festival

The Kachemak Bay Shorebird Festival honors the return of spring and the breathtaking migration of shorebirds through Kachemak Bay.  The Festival celebrates birds, public lands, local art and the unique ecosystem by connecting to over 130 species of birds that spend time in Kachemak Bay.

Join us in celebrating the 28th annual Kachemak Bay Shorebird Festival virtually May 7-10, 2020. The mudflats of Kachemak Bay provide an important stopover site for thousands of shorebirds on their northward migration.
