Arctic Circle

The land above the Arctic Circle is truly the land of the midnight sun. In the summer, sunlight bathes the north both day and night, as the North Pole points toward the sun. The sun circles continuously for at least one day at the Arctic Circle, and as long as six months at the North Pole, giving the Arctic a short, but intense burst of life in summer.
