Denali National Park & Preserve

Denali, the highest mountain in North America, is surrounded by Denali National Park and Preserve. Located in Alaska’s Interior region, the park is home to caribou, wolves, grizzly bears, moose, and Dall sheep to name only a few. The park was established in 1917 when Charles Sheldon recognized the need to protect this unique region and its wildlife.
